Pennsylvania Fares Well in Stimulus Spending

Pennsylvania has obligated about three-quarters of the federal stimulus allocation for highway funds, according to the Federal Highway Administration. As of July 15, PennDOT had obligated just under $760 million of the $1.026 billion received. Pennsylvania is one of only 14 states to have obligated at least 75 percent of the federal allocation.
