America’s infrastructure funding woes have not escaped the attention of the international press. The Economist, a Great Britain-based publication espousing free-market economics, has published an insightful article suggesting that the Obama administration could jump-start the American economy with a well-funded infrastructure plan utilizing tolling, which it calls an “economically efficient” funding mechanism.
