Rendell goes on the road to promote additional transportation funding

July 30, 2010

Want to see additional transportation funds enacted this fall?  Well, now is your chance to help make that less of a vision and more of a reality.

Governor Ed Rendell recently announced a series of public “bus stop” events where he will join with concerned citizens, industry advocates, and transportation-sector employees to help make the case that additional transportation funds are needed in Pennsylvania and they are needed now.

Rendell will travel in his trademark “Rendell bus” to various locations throughout the Commonwealth August 3-6.  The tour will make stops at various locations to highlight the need to increase transportation funding.  PHIA strongly encourages anyone desiring additional funding for an improved highway system to attend one of the stops and show your support.  Everyone is welcome so encourage your family, friends, employees, suppliers, business partners, etc. to attend one or more of these events.

Now is your opportunity to get involved and make your voice heard for additional funding.
