House Transportation Chairman Markosek set to become Minority Appropriations Chairman
The House Democrat Caucus, which will be in the minority after controlling the House the past four years, conducted its leadership elections today as they embark on the 2011-12 legislative session. Below are the new leaders:
Leader: Frank Dermody (D-Allegheny)
Whip: Mike Hanna (D-Centre/Clinton)
Caucus Chair: Dan Frankel (D-Allegheny)
Caucus Secretary: Jennifer Mann (D-Lehigh)
Caucus Administrator: Ron Buxton (D-Dauphin)
Policy Chair: Mike Sturla (D-Lancaster)
Appropriations Chairman: Joe Markosek (D-Westmoreland)
