The Honorable
Tim Holden
When it comes to transportation advocacy at the federal level, few are more effective than Congressman Tim Holden. A native of St. Clair in Schuylkill County, Holden was elected to Congress in 1992 after serving as county commissioner and sheriff. Before that, he worked in the family insurance and real estate business. Today, Holden is one of the highest ranking members of the Transportation Subcommittee on Highways, Transit and Aviation. Additionally, he is vice chair of the House Agriculture Committee and chairs its Subcommittee on Conservation, Credit, Energy, and Research.
