New section of I-95 in Northeast Philly set to open

Federal and state officials gathered along I-95 once again this year on Monday morning — at the site where the roadway collapsed in June — to tout the upcoming reopening of the highway as traffic is set to shift from temporary roadway onto new interstate highway.

Revenue Department releases October collections

In addition to the General Fund collections, the Motor License Fund received $240.2 million for the month, $1.9 million above estimate. Fiscal year-to-date collections for the fund – which include the commonly known gas and diesel taxes, as well as other license, fine and fee revenues – total $1.1 billion, which is $4.2 million, or 0.4 percent, below estimate.
