6.5M in PA without Real ID. They may face a $45 fee to fly
Travelers without REAL ID or other acceptable identification will be required to pay a new $45 fee to board a plane starting Sunday, Feb. 1, though less than half of Pennsylvanians have upgraded their license. The Transportation Security Administration announced in December the fee would be used to cover identity verification at airport security checkpoints.
Red light cameras at Eakins Oval end warning period
A 60-day warning period that had been in place since November has come to an end. Starting Thursday, drivers who violate the red light cameras in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art will be hit with fines.
