Airline suspends service at central Pa. airport without notice

The Williamsport Regional Airport is without a commercial airline after Southern Airways Express suspended operations there Saturday without advance notice. The commuter airline that had been providing daily roundtrip service to Washington’s Dulles International Airport with nine-seat planes since May 2024 blames the Williamsport Municipal Airport Authority for “a decision we did not want to make.”

PennDOT reminds drivers to check REAL ID status

PennDOT is reminding residents to check whether their driver’s license or identification card is REAL ID-compliant. Pennsylvania REAL ID cards have a gold star in the upper-right corner. Cards that are not REAL ID-compliant display the words “Not for REAL ID purposes” in that area.
